Dr. Timothy Deer is a leading physician in the specialty of pain management today and works tirelessly toward the advancement of techniques within the specialty.
Dr. Deer completed his medical training in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing his training, Dr. Deer has taught and held prestigious appointments such as the Chairman of the American Society of Anesthesiologist Committee on Pain Medicine. Dr. Deer is on the Board of Directors for the North American Neuromodulation Society, and works on the editorial board for three prestigious medical journals: Neuromodulation, Pain Medicine, and Pain Physician.
Dr. Deer continues to teach and lecture on important and groundbreaking topics in pain management such as Spinal Cord Stimulation and intrathecal drug infusions in the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia. Dr. Deer also continues to be involved in research in the interest of consistently advancing the specialty of pain management.
