Dr. Miles Day is a leading physician in the field of pain management and continues to contribute greatly to his specialty.
Dr. Day completed his medical training at the prestigious Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, including a world-renowned fellowship in pain management in the Department of Anesthesiology at Texas Tech.
Dr. Day served as the 2008-2009 President Elect for the Texas Pain Society. He serves as an Examiner for the World Institute of Pain, and is the Pain Fellowship Program Director at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Day is also currently the Anesthesiology Residency Program Director at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Day has worked as the Assistant Editor for the prestigious Pain Practice Medical Journal, as well as served on the Editorial Advisory Board of the widely distributed Pain Physician Medical Journal.
Dr. Day continues to expand the field of pain medicine by actively participating in research and study. He is regularly published in book chapters and journals, and consistently presents at major conferences and meetings. He has won many distinguished awards, including the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
