Dr. Charles Kim is an Integrative Pain Medicine Physician uniquely trained in both the Eastern & Western approaches to pain conditions and non-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, such as: sciatica, low back & Neck Pain, disc bulges, arthritis, muscle aches, sports and many other conditions. He is dual ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) Board Certified in Physiatry and in Pain Medicine, having been trained in an ACGME Anesthesiology-Interventional Pain Fellowship. He is the former Director of Medical Acupuncture and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology-Pain Management at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Currently he holds clinical and academic appointment at the NYU Langone Medical Center, while maintaining a full-time private practice. His wide-ranging armament of therapies to fight pain includes the most conservative such as acupuncture, medications, and physical/occupational therapies. He also utilizes the most advanced, non-surgical interventional pain procedures, when appropriate. He is often sought out for his experience and expertise on a wide range of pain topics by national and international media, as well as for lectures and talks by medical organizations and societies.
