Dr. Hogan is double-board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, making him one of the top professionals in his field. As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), Dr. Hogan has been trained to follow a "whole patient" approach to practicing medicine. He believes that finding an accurate diagnosis and source of the pain is essential in being able to effectively treat the patient.
After graduating from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, Dr. Hogan completed residency training in Anesthesiology followed by an additional Fellowship in Comprehensive Pain Medicine at the elite Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. The Cleveland Clinic is consistently ranked among the Top 4 Hospitals in the country.
Dr. Hogan stays on the forefront of pain medicine through research and other scholarly activities. The field of pain medicine is constantly changing as physicians and scientists strive to develop evidence-based practice guidelines while still providing an individualized approach to our patients.
Dr. Hogan was recently elected by his peers to the position of Vice-President of the Arizona Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
